Short term Medical Retina Fellowship Training Programme

Duration: 3 Months

Course Overview

The Retina Fellowship provides an intensive, fast-track learning experience designed to bridge the gap between theory and real-world clinical practice. Fellows gain comprehensive exposure to retinal diseases, advanced diagnostics, and supervised participation in essential medical and surgical procedures. The program ensures deep learning through continuous case handling, imaging interpretation, and interaction with complex retina conditions seen in daily clinical settings.

Key Training Features

  1. Clinical Exposure:
    Daily retina OPD, imaging interpretation, patient counselling
  2. Advanced Diagnostics:
    OCT, OCT-A, Fundus Camera, FFA, B-Scan
  3. Procedure Exposure:
    Intravitreal injections, laser treatments, Observation of Retinal Surgeries
  4. Academic Activities:
    Case discussions, seminars, documentation guidance
  5. Mentorship:
    Direct training and guidance under a Senior Retinal Surgeon.
  6. Certification:
    Fellowship completion certificate will be issued after successful training and assessment.

Short term Medical Glaucoma Fellowship Training Programme

Duration: 3 Months

Course Overview

The Glaucoma Fellowship offers a structured and immersive clinical learning experience focused on early diagnosis, staging, and long-term management of glaucoma. Fellows receive extensive exposure to a wide spectrum of glaucoma cases, advanced diagnostic tools, and modern treatment approaches. The course blends clinical observation, hands-on skill-building, and evidence-based management to prepare trainees for independent glaucoma practice.

Key Training Features

  1. Clinical Exposure:
    Daily Glaucoma OPD, visual field interpretation, IOP assessment, gonioscopy, patient counselling.
  2. Advanced Diagnostics:
    OCT RNFL & GCC analysis, Perimetry, Pachymetry, Gonioscopy imaging, Fundus Photography.
  3. Procedure Exposure:
    Observation of laser procedures (LPI, SLT), medication management, glaucoma work-up, pre- and post-operative assessment.
  4. Academic Activities:
    Case discussions, seminars, clinical documentation guidance, evidence-based treatment planning.
  5. Mentorship:
    Direct training and guidance under a Senior Glaucoma Specialist.
  6. Certification:
    Fellowship completion certificate will be issued after successful training and assessment.
