Dr.Jayaram is experienced with more than 50000 cataract procedures, 25000 lasik procedures and 2000 phakic iol implantations and well versed in cornea and refractive surgical procedures like INTACS, Collagen crosslinking, Conductive keratoplasty and Lamellar keratoplasty. Published papers in peer reviewed journals and delivered talks and presentations in All India, state and international conferences regarding cataract surgery, refractive surgery, corneal transplantation and ocular surface disorders.

Dr. Kiran completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Trivandrum in 2005. He joined for his post graduation in ophthalmology at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi (AIIMS) in 2006. He completed his MD in 2008 from AIIMS and was honored as the Best Junior Resident. He was selected as a fellow in Glaucoma and Cornea in 2009 in the same institution where he worked under stalwarts of ophthalmology like Dr Tanuj Dada and Dr Sudarshan Khokhar. After completion of fellowship training at AIIMS, he joined Vasan eye care, Trivandrum as a consultant in Glaucoma in the year 2010 where he is widely credited with developing the department of Glaucoma as a tertiary referral centre. He has several publications to his credit in peer reviewed national and international journals and is acclaimed as an excellent orator who has widely spoken in various Glaucoma forums.
